Motsepe appointed as CAF president

The South African billionaire Patrice Motsepe begins his four-year term as Confederation of African Football “CAF” President after being elected unopposed by the member Associations of CAF in Rabat. 

Motsepe reflected on his appointment during his today’s speech. 

“We must be fully prepared in order to face all the upcoming challenges.  Also,  we have to be positive in order to overcome all the coming obstacles”, Motsepe stated.

“I would like to thank Gianni Infantino and Fatma Samoura for their wise leadership and their important roles.”, Motsepe added. 

On a similar note,  both Hany Abou Rida and Fouzi Lekjaa won the memberships of the Confederation of African Football’s Executive Committee.

Also,  Augustine Senghor is appointed as the senior vice President, Ahmed Yahya is apoointed as the second-Vice President,  Suleiman Ubari  is appointed as the third-Vice President, Fouzi Lekjaa is appointed as the fourth – Vice President and Jacques Anouma is appointed as Motsepe’s advisor.
