Saudi Arabia crush Palestine 5-0 at King Saud University Stadium.

Saudi Arabia sealed a comfortable victory over Palestine, after thrashing them 5-0 in the Asian World Cup qualifiers at King Saud University Stadium.

Moreover, the fans attended the game for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak, as about 10.000 supporters were allowed to enter the stadium tonight. 

Saudi Arabia dominated the game from the beginning, as Yasser Al Shahrani opened the score in the 37th minute to give his team the lead. 

The Saudi Arabian team upped their pressure, and in the 43rd minute, Fahd Al Muwallad bagged the second goal to make the result 2-0. 

The second half kicked off and Saudi Arabia continued their sensational performance. Saleh Al Shehri was in a good run of form and manages to score a brace in six minutes.

In the 52nd minute, Al Shehri scored the third goal and he managed to visit his opponent’s net again in the 58th minute to complete his impressive brace.

The minutes went on, and Salem Al Dawsari scored the fifth goal of the game to ensure his team’s dominance over the game.

Saudi Arabia are currently at the top of Group D with 11 points, while Palestine are at the bottom of the table with 4 points.
