Juventus preparing huge contract for Pogba

Juventus are preparing to offer Paul Pogba a super contract as they look to sign him on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old Frenchman’s contract expires with Manchester United at the end of this season and he’s not expected to renew his deal, ending a six-year stay in the North West of England. He still holds fond memories of his time in Turin and Massimiliano Allegri is keen to be reunited with the 2018 World Cup winner.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have asked Pogba’s entourage to keep them informed of any offers for him and they’re currently preparing an impressive offer as they work to convince the Frenchman of a deal.

Whilst it’s a little too early to talk specific numbers, the Bianconeri are considering a base salary of €7.5m net per season, the same as Dusan Vlahovic, with add-ons that could see the total rise to €10m net per season. This would be a three-year contract and in practice Pogba would cost half as much as the Serbian, due to the Growth Decree allowing them to save 50% on taxes.

Allegri is already working hard to try and convince Pogba to join him in the Piedmont capital but he’ll have to wait, as for now the Frenchman wants to see what other offers are out there. As the summer draws nearer, however, important developments are expected.
