Moroccan Wydad officially signs the fourth deal … and Benzarti is requesting a loan of 4 players

The Moroccan club, Wydad, succeeded in signing the young player Abdallah Himoud from the Mohammed VI Football Academy, where the player signed an official contract for three and a half seasons, through which he carries the team’s shirt until June 2024.

Himod plays in the offensive midfield and is a graduate of the Mohamed VI Football Academy, which includes many distinguished talents.

Abdullah Hammoud became the fourth deal for Wydad during the current winter of Mercato, after contracting with Moncef Sharashim, coming from the Atlas Khenifra youth, and Mohamed Onajem as a cleric from Zamalek, in addition to the wing Bilal Al-Zayani.

Meanwhile, Wydad coach Faouzi Benzarti asked to dismiss some players from the team’s ranks or to loan some of them according to the club’s board of directors’ vision.

Wydad is negotiating the loan of its player Zuhair Al-Marjee to the Royal Army Club, Zakaria Al-Kayani to Al-Maghrib Al-Fassi, and Ibrahim Najm El-Din to Al-Difaa , in addition to Hamza Asrir and one of the four goalkeepers.

In a different context, the medical staff of Wydad revealed the developments in the injury of Ashraf Dari, the defender of the team that was injured with the Moroccan national team, in the African Nations Cup “Shan”, which is currently being held in Cameroon until February 7.

The medical apparatus of the Wydad team assured the fans of his club, about Dari’s injury, noting that the player had performed a magnetic resonance imaging examination, and he would conduct more accurate examinations within the next few hours, in order to determine his full health condition.

The injury prevented the Wydad defender from continuing with his colleagues, the players of the Moroccan national team, in their defense of the title of the “Chan” championship, after he had to return to Morocco due to the injury he sustained in one of the training sessions in order to complete the treatment phase.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Bencherifa, the assistant coach in the Wydad technical staff, expressed his happiness to return to his club, stressing that he hastened to respond to the club’s management call after contacting him to work with Benzarti.

He said, “After my football career full of accomplishments and titles, I return today to Wydad Sports Club.”

He added: “Immediately after receiving the invitation to work on the technical staff of Faouzi Benzarti, to the house of call, every player wants to return to his home club.”

Bencharifa was working as a coach for the youth team at Al-Fateh Sports Club, but he left to work in the technical staff of Wydad, at his request.
