Wydad were held to goalless draw against Horoya

The Morrocan giants Wydad were held to a goalless draw against Guinean Horoya in Matchday 4 of the CAF Champions League at General Lansana Conté Stadium.

The Morrocan giants started the game with frontline pressure in order to score the opener.

Wydad’s Mohamed Ounajem missed a dangerous scoring opportunity in the fourth minute, as he shot the ball away from the net.

The minutes went on and Wydad stood their ground in the defense, as they managed to block all the attempts of Horoya.

The second half kicked off with both teams seek to take the lead, but neither of them managed to score a goal.

Wydad’s manager Faouzi Benzarti used his bench in the second half, as Simon Msuva and Zouhair El Moutaraji entered the pitch instead of Ounajem and Muaid Ellafi.

The minutes went on and the referee blew his final whistle to announce a goalless draw.

Wydad are currently at the top of Group C with 10 points, while Horoya are in the third position with 5 points.
