Shabab Al Ahli are close to sign Boussoufa
Shabab Al Ahli have reached an initial agreement to sign
Moroccan star Mbark Boussoufa in a free transfer.
The Emirati club aim to sign the Moroccan as a replacement for the team’s Uzbek
midfielder Azizjon Ganiev who suffered an injury and will be sidelined for at
least 6 months.
The 36-year-old Moroccan star will start a new journey in the UAE Pro League if
the club was given a permission by the league’s medical committee to add Boussoufa
to replace the injured Uzbek midfielder.
The Moroccan star is a free player, which eases the mission to add him.
The club can add the player in their list before the 21st of
February, according to the league’s rules.
The Moroccan star has been out of a club since he left his former club, Al-Sailiya
SC of Qatar, in June 2020.
