Ali Mabkhout, the team’s striker, joined his teammates Omar Abdel Rahman “Amouri” and Nigerian Ezequiel, on the injured list.

Mabkhout was injured in the team’s group training, and despite that he prejudiced himself and participated in the Al Dhafra match in the Round of 16 in the President’s Cup, but he left the game in the 60th minute, where he undergoes treatment and rehabilitation sessions.

While sources inside Al-Jazeera revealed that Amouri suffers from a severe knee cartilage injury and may undergo surgery in Barcelona, ​​and he will be out of action for a period of up to 3 months to come.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Ezequiel suffers from a tear in the left leg muscles and will not return before the end of this year to be an absence affecting the “pride of Abu Dhabi”, which is linked to strong matches in the UAE League championship.

Al-Jazirah is ranked second in the UAE league standings with 17 points, after playing 8 matches in the local competition, winning five, drawing two matches, and losing one, while the championship is led by the Sharjah team with 20 points.
