Leonardo: ‘Ibrahimovic can’t stop talking about PSG’

PSG director Leonardo hits back at Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic: ‘He can’t stop talking about us, he tried to come back several times’.

The Swede had criticised the Ligue 1 giants in his new book Adrenaline, revealing that he even offered his services to replace Leonardo as the club’s sporting director.

Ibrahimovic believes the Ligue 1 giants dressing room lacks discipline.

The 40-year-old spent four seasons in Paris, scoring 156 goals in 180 matches before joining Manchester United in 2016.

Leonardo hit back at the Milan striker in an interview with L’Equipe.

“I don’t even want to answer. Indiscipline, where is it? I think there’s a reason every time a player leaves PSG, he can’t stop talking about us”, he said.

“Everyone wants to come. Zlatan tried several times to come back. I’m still waiting for his interview to thank PSG for everything they’ve done for him. PSG existed before and after him. But tell me, where is the indiscipline?”

Ibrahimovic is currently recovering from an Achilles tendon injury and has been out of action at Milan since the end of January. He is expected to miss the upcoming Serie A clash against Napoli, but Milan could extend his expiring contract despite his physical issues.
