“Final of the Century”… Al-Ahly wins CAF Champions league for 9th time in history

Al Ahly club succeeded in crowning the title of the African Champions League after defeating its traditional rivals and Zamalek 2-1 in the match held at Cairo International Stadium.

The final, which was called the “final of the century”, in which al-Ahly club opened the registration early through the average field Amr Suleia in the fourth minute, and the draw of Shikabala for Zamalek with a wonderful shot before half an hour of the age of the game.

In the second half Zamalek dominated the game without forming a real danger on the goal of goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawi except for a rocket shot from Zizou midway through the second half, and in the 84th minute scored Mohamed Magdi “Afsha” rocket goal in the goal of goalkeeper Abu Jabal to unleash the joys of Al-Ahly club after the coronation of the ninth title in its history and the first since 2013.

With this coronation within Al-Ahli qualified for the World Cup of clubs next year, scheduled in Qatar.
