Benzarti: I hope to face Esperance in the CAF Champions League final

Faouzi Benzarti, Wydad’s head coach, stated that he wants to face Esperance of Tunisisa in the CAF Champions League final. 

“Esperance are a better team than Al Ahly.  They are capapble of reaching the CAF Champions League final and I hope to face them.”

“Al Ahly also is a great team, but they are not at their best condition currently, despite the results that they achieved.”

On a similar note, Al Ahly are set to face Esperance of Tunisia in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals as the first leg will be held on June 18 or 19, while the second leg will be held on June 25 or 26.
