Prior to the training, Marvik met with the players and asked them to be optimally prepared for the qualifiers and to double the effort during training, stressing his full confidence in the elements that were selected, especially since there is a large group that he had previously worked with during the last period and that the newly joined elements would constitute a real addition to the team.

Marwijk provided a comprehensive explanation to the players about the current camp program, which will continue until the 12th of this month and will include a friendly match against the Iraq national team, as well as the way and style of play that he will follow during the matches.

For his part, Mohammed Obaid Hammad, the general supervisor of the Emirates national team, stressed that the current camp is of utmost importance as it is the first in the era of coach Marvik who returned to training the national team again and that it is the longest in terms of the period, especially since the upcoming gatherings will be short, until the date of the Malaysia match in the Emirates Next March 25.

He added that the players chosen for this camp are considered the most prominent through the level at which they appeared in the UAE league matches and the technical staff’s knowledge of their capabilities, as well as their technical and physical readiness.
