Martinez is close to leave Al Nassr

Gonzalos Nicolss Maritnez is close to leave Al Nassr this season by mutual consent.

The Argentinan midfielder will face a lenghty setback after picking up an injury in his knee.

Following receiving his medical report, the Saudi club are looking forward to terminate Matrinez’s contract by mutual consent,  as he will be sidelined for a long time away from the team.

Martinez joined Al Nassr for €17 m last summer and became the most expensive player in history of the Saudi Professional League, having smashed the previous record held by Al Nassr’s former player Ahmed Musa who arrived from Leicester City for €16 m.

Martinez wore Al Nassr’s Jersey in 18 occasions and managed to score three goals and provided five assists.
