The Emirati Al-Wehdah agrees with Ismail Matar to extend his contract and approaches Brandley

The management of Al-Wehda club reached an agreement with the captain of the team, Ismail Matar, to extend his contract for an additional season, ending in the summer of 2022.

Ismail Matar’s contract with Al-Wahda ends at the end of the current season, specifically in June 2021, so the club’s management decided to enter into quick negotiations with the player to stay within its ranks for another season, unlike the remaining season in his current contract with Al-Annabi.

Ismail Matar presented the current season despite reaching the age of 37, where he played 11 matches, scored 3 goals and assists 3 more, which encouraged the unit management to approach him about the file of officially extending his contract.

Ismail Matar played in his career with Al-Wahda 271 matches, scoring 46 goals, and wore the Emirates national team shirt in 121 matches, in which he scored 34 goals, and won the Gulf Cup in the 2007 and 2013 editions.

On the other hand, Al Wahda club settled the deal for Brandley Coase, a player, of Al-Nasr Club, as he will join the team on loan.

Brandley Coase, 28, is expected to be a substitute for Congolese Mpoku, who left the team’s coaching staff due to a noticeable decline in his level in the last period.
