Bony blames COVID-19 on his departure from Al Ittihad

Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony said that the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on his career with Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad.

“I had a strong start at Al Ittihad but everything changed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.” Bony said.
Bony wore the jersey of Al Ittihad in 10 matches and he scored five goals for the club.

Bony’s journey with Al Ittihad ended in November 2020 after the club’s decision
to terminate his contract.
