Al Ittihad are held to 1-1 draw against Al Raed

Al Ittihad were held to a 1-1 draw against Al Raed in Matchday 24 of the Saudi Professional League at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium. 

Al Ittihad’s Ahmed Hegazy was sent off in the 37th minute as a result of his late challenge against Al Raed’s forward. 

Also,  Al Ittihad’s Romarinho missed a penalty, as the ball went away of Al Raed’s net.

The first half ended in a goalless draw , despite that both teams were trying to score the opener. 

The second half kicked off and Al Ittihad levelled up the pressure to score the opener.  

In the 64th minute, Romarinho bagged the first goal of the game and gave his team the lead.  

After five minutes, Al Raed equalized the score, thanks to Karim El Berkaoui’s goal. 

Following today’s game, Al Ittihad reached 42 points in the third position, while Al Raed reached 29 points in the eleventh position.
