VAR to be used in AFC Champions League quarter-finals

Video assistant referee (VAR) will be used in the 2021 AFC Champions League in the quarter-finals stage.

The Asian Football Confederation has decided previously to abandon the usage of the VAR in the 2021 AFC Champions League group stage games, but it will be back in action in the competition’s quarter-finals.
