Al Faisaly set impressive records after winning the Saudi Kings Cup trophy

Al Faisaly managed to seal their first-ever Saudi Kings Cup trophy after defeating Al Taawoun 3-2 on Thursday at King Fahd International Stadium. 

Al Faisaly pulled an impressive comeback in the game and sealed a 3-2 victory, thanks to Julio Tavares’s hattrick. 

Additionally, the Blue Eagles set several impressive records in the game, as they secured their first qualification for the AFC Champions League in their history. 

Moreover, Tavares became the first player to score a hattrick in the final game of the Saudi Kings Cup, since its inauguration in 2008.

Also, the Cape Verdean forward became the third player to score a hattrick in the final game behind Al Hilal’s Ragab Moussa and Al Ittihad’s Mohamed El Nour.
