Al-Wahda surprises Al-Ittifaq and wins it at home

Al-Wehda team snatched an important victory over Al-Itifaq 2-1 in the match that brought them together in Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia, within the eleventh week of the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Wehda scored its fourth successive victory in the Saudi League, and Mali Youssef Niakati scored both goals in the 52nd and 89th minutes, while Philip Kish scored the only goal of Al-Ettifaq from a penalty kick in the 68th minute.

Al-Wehda raised its score to 18 points, moving up to the fifth place, while the balance of Al-Itifaq stopped at 17 points, down to sixth.

Referee Raed Al-Zahrani canceled the goal of Dimitri, the player of Al-Wehda, after returning to VAR technology in the 18th minute

The scoring was opened by Mali Yusef Nyakati’s shot from inside the penalty area at the 52nd minute, and the referee awarded a penalty kick after returning to the VAR technique, as Felipe Kish shot it and equalized for his team at the 68th minute.

Youssef Nikati returned with his second goal in the 89th minute, giving the team match points.
