Al Faisaly host Al Ahli in Saudi League
Al Ahli’s first-team is traveling to Al Majmaah to face Al Faisaly in the 21st
week of the Saudi Professional League, with both teams aiming to achieve the
three points
Al Ahli hope to put an end to the team’s winless run in the last three weeks
and bounce back after their catastrophic 3-0 loss to the league leaders, Al
Shabab in the last week.
The team player, Omar El Souma and Mohamed Al Owais, stated after the game that
Al Ahli is not able to fight for the title.
Al Ahli come third in the league table with 35 points, 6 points behind Al
Shabab and only one point behind Al Hilal, who come second in the standings.
On the other hand, Al Faisaly put on solid performances in the last two weeks,
having defeated Al Ittihad in Jeddah in the 20th week of the league
while they defeated Damak at home in the 19th week.
The two victories helped Al Faisaly escape the relegation zone and they are 10th
in the league table with 26 points.
