Galatasaray target signing Aliou Dieng

Al Ahly Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng has emerged on the radar of Turkish giants, Galatasaray.

The Turkish club’s scouts followed the player and offered him to Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim, who is expected to decide whether to sign the player or not in the upcoming period.

Al Ahly officials stated that the club did not receive an official offer from the Turkish giants, adding that the player is one of the key players in the squad and that the club wants to keep his, especially after extending his
contract.

Al Ahly’s delegation returned back to Cairo on Wednesday morning after losing to Tanzania’s Simba 1-0 in the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al Ahly’s head coach Pitso Mosimane said that the team is now focusing on the upcoming match against El Geish in the Egyptian League, scheduled on Sunday.

Mosimane blamed bad luck after losing to Simba, adding that the team had many chances to score but the team players failed to take it to secure a better result.
