Al Ahly striker is in doubt for Simba match

Al Ahly striker Marwan Mohsen was forced to leave Al Ahly’s first training session in Tanzania after suffering a leg injury.

Al Ahly’s medical staff decided to withdraw Marwan from the training to avoid worsening his injury.

The medical staff will try to prepare the player to be ready to support his teammates in the match.

On the other hand, Al Ahly defender Ayman Ashraf received the green light to join full training after being fully recovered from the hamstring injury that forced the player to miss the game
against Al Merrikh SC.

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane held a short meeting with the player before the training to check on his condition.

On a similar note, Al Ahly denied all the allegations that the team’s winger Mahmoud Kahraba racially abused one of Al Merrikh SC players, adding that the two clubs enjoy mutual respect and
appreciation.

Sudanese reports said that Al Merrikh officials intend to send a complaint to CAF regarding the incident.
