2021 FIFA Arab Cup draw announced

2021 FIFA Arab Cup draw took place on
Tuesday 27 April at the Cultural Village Foundation in Doha, Qatar.

Nine teams have qualified automatically to
the group stage of the competition according to the FIFA World Rankings, while
13 teams will participate in the preliminary round and 6 of them will qualify
to the group stage.

The tournament, which will run from 1-18
December, is seen as a dress rehearsal for next year’s World Cup finals, which
will be also hosted by Qatar.

The nine highest-ranked teams were
automatically given group-stage spots. They will be joined by the seven winners
of the qualifying stage. The top two in each group will advance to the
quarter-finals.
