Wydad Casablanca to face Horoya on 6 March in Casablanca

Wydad
Casablanca announced on Friday that Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca will host
their match against Guinea’s Horoya on 6 March in the Matchday 3 of the CAF
Champions League group stage.

The game against Horoya will be Wydad’s first home game in the group stage as
the Moroccan authorities refused to allow the delegation of South Africa’s Kaizer
Chiefs to enter the country, which forced the match to be played in Burkina
Faso on 28 February.

Wydad faced Petro Atletico of Angola in Matchday 2 of the CAF Champions League
in Luanda and won the match 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ayoub El Kaabi.

Wydad also announced that the team’s goalkeeper Aissa Sioudi did not accompany
the team’s delegation to Burkina Faso as he is in self-isolation after
contracting COVID-19.
