The failure of Al-Ahly’s defender joining Al-Mokawloon … FIFA announces the team’s list for the World Cup clubs

The transfer of Ramy Rabia, defender of the first team for football at Al-Ahly club, to the Arab Mokawloon Club, failed in the last moments, after the registration window in the Egyptian Football Association was closed.

Rabia’s opportunity to participate with Al-Ahly diminished, especially in light of the seasonal stability of the participation of the duo Badr Bannon and Ayman Ashraf in the center of the defender, in addition to the presence of Yasser Ibrahim, Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham” and Saad Eddin Samir.

Musimani also excluded Rabia from the list of participating in the Club World Cup, which starts next Thursday in Doha.

On the other hand, FIFA announced that Al-Ahly had registered 23 players from the list that would participate in the World Cup clubs, and some players were excluded from it, namely Mahmoud Waheed and Rami Rabia for technical reasons, Nasser Maher and Walid Suleiman due to the injury suffered by the duo.

The list that was announced was as follows: “Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Ali Lotfi, Mustafa Schubert, Ayman Ashraf, Badr Bannon, Yasser Ibrahim, Saad Samir, Ahmed Ramadan“ Beckham ”, Muhammad Hani, Ali Maaloul, Amr Al-Sulayyah, Aliou Diang, Hamdi Fathi Akram Tawfiq, Mohamed Magdy “Afsha”, Hussein Al-Shahat, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba”, Taher Muhammad Taher, Junior Ajay, Mohamed Sharif, Marwan Mohsen, Salah Mohsen, Walter Bwalia.

Al-Ahly will begin its competitions in the World Championship against Al-Duhail, Qatar, next Thursday, with the winner facing Bayern Munich on February 8 in the semi-finals of the world championship in which Al-Ahly is participating for the sixth time in history.

While Al-Ahly can replace any player 24 hours before the first match in the tournament, provided that there is an extreme necessity to exclude any player, such as injuries or any member of the team being infected with the Coronavirus.
