Lewandowski ready to ‘act publicly’ if Bayern block Barcelona transfer bids

Robert Lewandowski is ready to up his efforts to leave Bayern Munich this summer and force a move to Barcelona this summer.

The Poland international has made no secret of his desire to exit the Bundesliga in the transfer window as he enters the final year of his contract. However, Bayern chiefs have denied him the chance to leave and have stuck to their guns.

Barcelona have reportedly already agreed a contract with Lewandowski on a two-year deal with an option to extend it by another season. According to Sport, Bayern are refusing to even answer Barca’s calls and have knocked back any attempts to let the forward go.

The German giants expect Lewandowski to see out the rest of his contract, who has one year left at the club. However, it was further stated that the 34-year-old will look to take drastic steps in a bid to get his own way.

That might include acting out again in public to try and force Bayern’s hand, despite him already utilising this tactic. It means that this transfer saga has the potential to boil over into darker territory with no side willing to budge.
