Cueva among the top assist leaders in Copa America

 Al Fateh’s Christian Cueva was on a good run of form with Peru during Copa America 2021. 

Cueva managed to provide two assists during the tournament. Cueva is placed third behind Neymar who has four assists and Lionel Messi who has five assists.

Cueva led his team to reach the semi-finals, before losing to Brazil.

Peru lost to Colombia in the third-place playoffs and were placed fourth in the tournament. 

Cueva appeared on 17 occasions with Al Fateh, where he managed to score nine goals and provided 8 assists.
