Chafai‘s hattrick gifts Damac precious victory over Abha

Damac achieved a precious win tonight in a thrilling game, as they defeated their arch-rivals 4-3 in the Saudi Professional League. 

Damac’s Farouk Chafai scored a brilliant hatrick tonight, which gifted his team three important ppoints.

Chafai’s first goal came in the 10th minute as he gave his team the early lead. 

Abha upped their pressure and managed to equalize the score in the 34th minute, thanks to Karim Aouadhi’s goal. 

However, Chafai added the second goal in the 42nd minute to put his team once again in the lead. 

In a thrilling second half,  Abha increased their pressure in order to equalize. In the 75th minute, Saad Bguir scored the equalizer for his team and managed to make the result 2-2.

Once again, Damac took the lead in the 78th minute, as Abdullah Al Ammar scored a brilliant goal to make the result 3-2. 

In the dying minute of the game, Chafai visited Abha’s net for the third time and netted the winner to complete his brilliant hat trick and to gift his team a precious victory. 

Following today’s victory, Damac are in the 15th position with 24 points, while Abha are in the 10th position with 31 points.

On a similar note, Al Ain sealed their second victory in this season after thrashing Al Wehda 4-0 tonight.

Al Ain’s Badou Ndiaye opened the score in the 45th minute, while Amadou Moutari, Faisal Al Jamaan and Mohammed Fouad added the other goals respectively.

Al Ain are currently at the bottom of the table with 20 points, while Al Wehda are in the 14th position with 27 points.
