Cairo Stadium to host Al Ahly clash against Vita Club

Ahly announced on Saturday that the team will face AS Vita Club of Congo in the
Matchday 3 of the CAF Champions League at Cairo International Stadium on 6
March.

Al Ahly sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) to inform
CAF with the date and the venue of the match.

Al Ahly aim to bounce back after losing the last match in the group stage to
Tanzania’s Simba 1-0.

Al Ahly and Vita Club share second place in the group, with three points
each, and they are three points behind the leaders, Simba.

On a similar note, Al Ahly’s Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz denied Al
Ahly’s negotiations with Simba’s Luís Miquissone, adding that they appreciate the
player but they are not thinking of signing him in the current period.

Al Ahly will face El Geish on Sunday in the Egyptian Premier League at Al Ahly stadium.
