Al Jazira crowned as UAE Arabian Gulf League champions

Al Jazira crowned as UAE Arabian Gulf League champions after defeating Khor Fakkan 3-1 on Tuesday in the final fixture of the UAE Arabian Gulf League at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

Al Jazira’s Omar Traore was in a good run f form today, as he netted a brilliant brace which led his team to a sensational victory.

Traore opened the score in the 10th minute, before Ali Mabkout added the second goal to make it 2-0 for Al Jazira. 

The second half kicked off and Traore visited Khor Fakkan’s net again in the 56th minute, as he bagged a goal to make the result 3-0.

In the dying minutes of the game, Kalfan Hassan scored his team’s only goal in the game. However, it was not enough to save the day and Al Jazira managed to lift the UAE Arabian Gulf League title.
