Wydad’s Ounajem to be sidelined for two weeks

Ounajem will be sidelined for at least two weeks due to an injury, the Moroccan
club’s doctor Anis Chacko confirmed.  

Ounajem picked up a
thigh injury during the Casablanca derby, which his team managed to win 2-0 on
Sunday in the Moroccan Professional League.

Chako stated that
Ounajem’s injury is not serious, and he is currently working hard to recover
from his injury.

On a similar note, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) assigned the Zambian referee Gianni Sikazoy to officiate Wydad’s game against Kaizer Chiefs in Matchday 5 of the CAF Champions League group stage.
