The Algerian USMA decides to dismiss the sporting director

Xenia Sports – London

The Algerian club, USMA, decided to dismiss the club’s sporting director, “Antar Yahya,” after only 8 months of assuming his duties at the head of the capitalist team. This came after the club’s board of directors met during the past hours.

The decision of the USMA came due to the failure of Antar Yahya Darii, which affected the results of the Algerian team during the current season.

The club lives in a difficult situation due to not achieving any victory during the first 4 matches in the new version of the Algerian Football League Championship 2020-2021, where it occupies the penultimate position with only two points from two draws and two defeats, and it is on one point from bottom-ranked Ittihad Belabbas.

Yahya committed many things that the USMA administration found wrong, including his termination of the contract of Moayad Al-Lafi, the Libyan player who joined the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca during the Mercato last summer.

And he dispensed with some of the players from the team, most notably Rabih Moftah, who left the team after playing in its ranks for a full 9 years. In contrast, most of the new deals contracted by the former sports director failed to provide the required addition to the team during the current season.

Antar Yahia’s biggest sin, according to the Algerian club’s management’s point of view, was his contract with Frenchman Francois Ciculini, who was dismissed after he refused to go to the podium following the super match that the team lost to season’s champion Youth Belouizdad, where he was dismissed for disrespecting the officials who attended the Super Cup.

It is noteworthy that the USMA club, with the planning of its sports director Antar Yahya, included 5 players of Algerian origins who were active in various French leagues, namely Alexis Jendouz and Mehdi Benidine, as well as Salim Agal, Mazir Sola, and Osama Abdel Jalil.
