The Algerian Football Association announces the date of the readiness of the Mustafa Chaker Stadium

Xenia Sports – London

The Algerian Football Association announced the readiness of the Mustapha Chaker Stadium in Blida, starting next March, after the end of maintenance work that began three months ago when the stadium was repaired.

The Algerian federation said in a brief statement: “Martyr Mustapha Chaker Stadium will be ready next March, and will be able to receive the interview of the last round of the national team against Botswana in the 2021 African Nations Cup qualifiers.”

He added, “Thanks to these retrofit works, the grounds of Mustafa Chaker Stadium will regain their colors so that this sports facility will be able to host the national team matches again.”

It is known that the ground of Mustapha Chaker Stadium was poor and reached a deplorable state, which required the intervention of Algerian Football Association officials to repair the field, which was the preferred stadium for the first Algerian football team, during the past years.

After the completion of the maintenance work, the stadium will be handed over, provided that matches will be held on it normally, while the Algerian national team plays its matches in the African Nations Qualifiers at the Olympic Center Stadium (July 5, Algeria), until the Mustafa Chaker Stadium is ready, next March.
