Tunisian club Etoile Sahel announced that its Brazilian coach, Jorvan Vieira, and his assistant Felipe Silvano, officially annulled, after the team’s results declined during the last period.
The Tunisian club said, in an official statement, that it had canceled the contract with Vieira and his assistant by mutual consent, announcing that the task was assigned to coach Mohamed Ali Nfkha, who would lead Etoile Sahel during the next match against Africa.
Etoile Sahel signed with the Brazilian Vieira at the beginning of the season, and he supervised the coaching of the team in 8 matches and achieved 4 wins, two defeats, and two draws.
A state of public anger prevailed during the last period, due to the team’s decline in performance, which was great pressure on Etoile Sahel’s management, which in turn terminated the Brazilian coach’s contract.
Etoile Sahel had overtaken the Arab Contractors in the second preliminary round of the African Confederation Championship, after a draw with him in Cairo at the El Mokawloon Stadium in Jabal Al Akhdar negatively without goals, and beat him in Tunisia with two goals to one, to face Young Pavlouz, Eswatini champion, in the 32nd round of the tournament.
