Official: Lega Serie a refuses to postpone games despite Italy’s World Cup play-offs

Lega Serie A has announced the dates and times for matchday 29 and 30 in March and league fixtures won’t be postponed despite Italy’s World Cup play-offs.

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina had asked to postpone the entire matchday 30 which would take place just a few days before Italy’s World Cup play-offs against North Macedonia. Roberto Mancini’s men will play the semis in Palermo on March 24 and could meet Turkey or Portugal in the Final if they win.

Lega Serie A has announced the dates and times for matchday 29 and 30 opting not to meet Gravina’s request and the Serie A fixtures will go ahead as planned.
