Etoile du Sahel were held to a 2-2 draw against Club African in Matchday 21 of the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

In the 49th minute, Etoile du Sahel’s Tayeb Meziani opened the score and gave his team the lead in the match.

Etoile du Sahel upped their pressure and in the 68th minute, Aymen Sfaxi bagged the second goal to make the result 2-0.

However, Club African managed to pull an impressive comeback within 7 minutes.

 In the 71st minute, Chiheb Labidi netted the first goal from the spot, and after 7 minutes Saber Khalifa bagged the second goal to complete his team’s come back.

Etoile du Sahel are currently in the second position with 40 points, six points behind Esperance who are at the top of the table, while, Club African are in the 12th position with 22 points.
