Al Sharjah hammer sorry Pakhtakor in AFC Champions League

Al Sharjah of UAE achieved a comfortable 4-1 victory over Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan on Tuesday in Matchday 3 of AFC Champions League group stage. 

With 10 minutes on the clock, Al Sharjah’s Khaled Ba Wazir broke the deadlock to give his team the early lead. 

The Uzbek team upped their pressure and in the 21st minute, Dragan Ceran found the back of the net and scored the equalizer.

Five minutes later, Al Sharjah took the lead once again thanks to Salem Saleh’s efforts. 

Pakhtakor tried to level the score again, but Al Sharjah managed to keep their net clean. 

The minutes went and Al Sharjah’s players visited the Uzbek team’s net twice, as Caio Lucas and Luan Martins bagged the third and fourth goals respectively. 

Al Sharjah are currently sit at the top of Group B with 7 points, while Pakhtakor are at the bottom of the table with 2 points from three games.
