Al Raja set up Pyramids showdown in CAF Confederation Cup semis

Al Raja of Morocco secured their qualification ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup after thrashing Orlando Pirates of South Africa 4-0 in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.

Raja’s Malango netted a brace in the first half to give his team a 2-0 lead. However, the Green Eagles kept their dominance over the match, as Benhalib and Sofian Rahimi bagged another two goals to secure the team’s qualification.

On the other hand, Pyramids FC of Egypt secured their qualification after being held to a 1-1 draw against Enyimba of Nigeria in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.

The Egyptian team defeated the Nigerian side 5-2 on aggregate, after securing a 4-1 victory in the first leg.

Raja are set to face Pyramids in the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
