Al Ittihad’s Rodrigues returns from injury layoff

Al Ittihad’s Cape Verdean midfielder Garry Rodrigues has returned once again to the team after a lenghty layoff. 

Rodrigues was sidelined for 6 weeks due to an injury,  but now he is back in action after being fully recovered. 

The Saudi Arabian team is keen to win more points in the Saudi Professional League as they aim to book their qualification to the AFC Champions League. 

On a similar note,  Al Ittihad suffered several absences during the last period. As Muhannad Al Shanqeeti suffered fatigue while Abdulrahman Al Aboud suffered an ACL injury. 

Al Ittihad are in the third position with 41 points and they are set to face Al Raed in week 24 of the SPL.
