Ferrera: Foreign players enhanced the SPL’s performance

Yannick Ferrera, Al Fateh’s head coach, featured in an interview and spoke about his experience with the Saudi Professional League. 

“I came to the Saudi Professional League (SPL) 10 years ago. At that time,  I was working as a performance analyst with Michel Preud’homme.”

“The situation was different back then, as each team has the right to register only four foreign players. Unlike now, each team can register seven foreign players. The thing that contributed a lot to enhance the performance of the SPL. “

“Also,  I would like to praise Al Hilal’s André Carrillo. He is a good Player and focus only with his team. He is not affected by what the others say about him and he only respond to them by his performance on the field.”

“I am happy to work with a club like Al Fateh. They are a good team and I do not suffer a lot of pressure with them. also, we achieved many positive results such as reaching to the Kings Cup semi-finals, so I am glad to be here.”

Ferrera concluded that his team will have a busy summer transfer window in order to keep achieveing the positive results in the upcoming challenges.
