Damak coach is the first victim of the new year in the Saudi League

The management of the Saudi Damak club decided, on Monday, to dismiss the Algerian coach Noureddine Zakri from his post after the unconvincing technical levels that he presented with the team, which led the team to be at the bottom of the Saudi League standings.

Bin Zakari had made harsh statements, after the last confrontation with Damak and Qadisiyah, in which he threatened to leave the team if no players were registered in the Mercato winter period.

Bin Zakari succeeded in saving Damak last season and staying in the Saudi Professional League after he was threatened with relegation to the first league.

The total amount paid by the Algerian coach is 800 thousand dollars per year.

Damak is ranked 16th in the Saudi League table with 8 points.
