Al-Wahda stops Al-Ain and Al-Ittifaq wins Al-Faisaly in the Saudi League

The Al-Wehda team outperformed its counterpart, Al-Ain, in the match that brought together the two teams this evening at the King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Makkah Al-Mukarramah 2-1, within the ninth round of the Saudi Professional League.

Hernani scored for Al-Wahda in the 24th minute, adding the second goal in the 77th minute through Al Ain defender Hassan Al-Harbi after he accidentally scored the ball against his own net, while Al Ain scored his striker Mutari in the 28th minute.

With this result, Al Wehdah raised its points to 12 points, taking ninth place, while Al Ain remained 7 points ahead of its previous score in the fourteenth place in the ranking.

 

And in Al Majmaah, central Saudi Arabia, Al-Ettifaq team defeated its host Al-Faisali 0-3 today, at Al Majmaah Sports City Stadium in the ninth week of the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Ettifaq ended the first half with a 0-1 lead by Naim Sliti in the 23rd minute.

In the second half, Al-Itifaq player Philip Kees strengthened his team’s lead by scoring the second goal in the 69th minute, and Walid Azaro concluded the goals by scoring the third goal in the 95th minute.
