Al-Ahly receives its second consecutive defeat and fails to reach the top of the Saudi League

Al-Ahly Saudi Jeddah failed to overtake the top of the Saudi Professional League after suffering a heavy loss against Qadisiyah, 3-1, in Week 12 of the Saudi Professional League, in the meeting that was held at Al-Rakah Stadium in Khobar, eastern Saudi Arabia.

Al-Qadisiyah scored early, through Colombian Daniilo Esperia, from a direct free kick, in the 12th minute, and Hamad Al-Yami scored the second goal in the 40 + 3 minute.

The match witnessed the control of the Qadisiyah team, which succeeded in scoring the third goal in the 77th minute through Hassan Al-Omari, through a wonderful individual effort.

Al-Ahly narrowed the difference late, when Abdul Rahman Gharib scored the first goal for Al-Ahli team in the 88th minute, to end the match with Al-Qadisiyah winning 3 against a goal for Al-Ahli team.

Al-Ahly’s balance stuck at 22 points in second place, and Qadisiyah rose to tenth with 17 points.
