Zamalek to travel to Tunisia on a private plane

Zamalek will travel to Tunisia on 3 March on a private plane to face the Tunisian giants Esperence on 6 March at Hammadi Agrebi Olympic Stadium in the Matchday 3 of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Zamalek officials agreed with a new airline to provide a private plane to take the delegation to Tunisia after the tough circumstances that surrounded the team’s trip to Senegal.

The White Knights failed to secure a victory in the first two matches after two goalless draws against MC Alger and Teungueth.

Zamalek come second in the group table alongside MC Alger with two points each while Esperance lead the group table with 4 points.

The White Knights are preparing for their upcoming match in the league against Wadi Degla on Monday.

The team’s head coach Jaime Pacheco decided to rule out Mahmoud Shikababla, Mohamed Abdelshafi and Hazem Imam for injury.

Abdelshafi returned to the team’s full training after being fully recovered from the long injury that he suffered last season.
