Zamalek to offer El Winsh new contract

Zamalek are set to offer a contract extension for the team’s defender Mahmoud Hamdi, known as El Winsh, after his impressive performance with the team during the last period.

El Winsh shined with the White Knights, the thing which urged Zamalek offer him a new contract after he recieved several offers from Saudi Arabian clubs during the last period.

Additionally, Zamalek announced that the team’s defender Abudllah Gomaa suffered a knee injury and he will be performing a rehabilitation program in order to fully recover from the injury.

Furthermore, Zamalek’s head coach Patrice Carteron was not happy from Gomaa’s behaviour during the previous period, as the Player was not committed to his rehabilitation program, besides that he missed several training sessions.

Also, the club’s board member, Mohamed Al Atraby, announced that the team will not withdraw from the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Atraby said that his team is currently at the top of the league table, and that they are close to secure the title, so they have no intention to withdraw from the competition.

On a similar note, Al Ahly, Zamalek’s arch-rivals, will cement their position at the top of the table with four points gap, if they managed to win their rescheduled games.
