Zamalek to impose sanction against Abdelsalam

Zamalek’s coaching staff decided  to impose a sanction against the team’s defender, Mohamed Abdelsalam, after he refused to be benched in Zamalek’s game against Talae’a El Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League. 

Abdelsalam was not satisfied with the coaching staff’s decision, as he was not included in the starting line-up despite that both Mahmoud Alaa and Mohamed Abdelghany suffered were sidelined due to injuries. 

On a similar note, the Court of Arbitration for Sport informed Zamalek that the court hearing of Mahmoud Kahraba 31 May, following the appeal which the player submitted after he was fined $2 million for unilaterally terminating his contract with Zamalek to move to Aves in the close season.
