Zamalek to file report to Public Resolution

Zamalek are set to file a complaint to the Egyptian Public Prosecution against the Football Association regarding the misappropriation of the documents of the team’s player, Imam Ashour.

The club indicated that they had received a letter from the Football Association after submitting an appeal against Ashour’s ban. However, the EFA declared that the White Knights did not appeal against the disciplinary committee’s decision towards the player.

In a response to the EFA’s statements, Zamalek said that they filed a report to the Public Prosecution and attached all the documents which confirm their progress to appeal.

The club was surprised not to consider the appeal from the Football Association and Promotion that Zamalek did not submit an appeal.

On a similar note, Zamalek’s controversial midfielder Emam Ashour was hit with a fresh 12-game ban for making offensive chants against arch-rivals Ahly and some of their officials following the end of the youth league game.
