Zamalek to file complaint to CAF

Zamalek’s board of directors, headed by Emad Abdelaziz, decided to file a complaint to the Confederation of African Football.

Zamalek will demand to qualify to the CAF Champions League quarter finals, as the White Knights claimed that both MC Alger and Esperance have agreed to end the game in a tie in order to knock out the Egyptian team, which contradicts with the rules of the fair play.

Amr El Dardir, Zamalek’s spokesperson, stated that his club will ask to conduct an official investigation against the game’s result, especially after the lax performance that both teams showed against each other.
