Zamalek to conduct an internal investigation on Shikabala’s Financial Dispute

Zamalek’s official spokesperson Essam Salem stated that the club will conduct an internal investigation on Mahmoud Abdelrazik Shikabala’s financial issues with Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon.  

Salem stated that the club has already deducted the required fees from the player’s previous salary,  but they were surprised that there is a $550,000 fine that has to be paid, which can also reach $800,000.

Moreover, he denied all the rumors saying that Zamalek are negotiating Patrice Carteron.  He added that the club has full confidence in Jaime  Pacheco and they do not think to sign the French manager once again.

On a similar note, Zamalek’s first-team delegation traveled to Tunisia on a private plan ahead of facing Espérance Sportive de Tunis on Saturday in Matchday3 in the CAF Champions League group stage.
