Zamalek appeal against EFA suspension of youth team players

Amr El Darder, Zamalek’s spokesperson, affirmed that his club have lodged an appeal to Egyptian Association of Football against the recent suspensions of five of the youth team players following the recent incidents that happened in the youth Cairo Derby. 

El Darder also added that they appealed against the suspension of Emam Ashour, who was  banned for 12 games after making offensive chants against Al Ahly. 

On the other hand, Patrice Carteron, Zamalek’s head coach was very happy after defeating El Entag El Harby 3-0 on Thursday in the Egyptian Premier League. 

Carteron said that he was happy from his players’ performance during the game, while he also praised the team’s striker Hamid Ahdad after scoring a goal in Thursday’s encounter. 

Finally,  Zamalek’s defender,  Mohamed Abdelghany, will be suspended from the team’s upcoming game against National Bank of Egypt after receiving a red card during the game.
