Zamalek announces the close of Mustafa Mohamed to leave for Saint-Etienne

The past hours have witnessed a major breakthrough in Zamalek club, in the professional file of Mostafa Mohamed, who is just around the corner from joining the French club Saint-Etienne during the current winter transfer period.

And Essam Salem, the official spokesman for Zamalek club, announced that the last hours witnessed great flexibility on the part of the club’s football management, to agree to the departure of the player to Saint-Etienne, although the technical staff led by Jaime Pacheco was committed to keeping him for the end of the season.

He explained, that all roads lead to Mustafa Mohamed’s professionalism, and some simple frills remain, to resolve his official transfer to the French team Saint-Etienne, after the player stuck to the experience of European professionalism, during the current winter Mercato.

Saint-Etienne had raised his offer to contract with Mustafa Mohamed to $ 5 million, and the agreement between the two clubs remains on the method of payment, in addition to obtaining some other benefits and placing 15 or 20% of the attacker’s resale in the future.

Essam Salem confirmed that Ferjani Sassi arrived in Cairo and was received at Cairo International Airport, explaining that the player welcomed the renewal of the contract, especially after missing the opportunity to move to the Qatari club Al-Duhail, who contracted with Iranian Ali Karim.

He added that Zamalek’s recent victories, and good results in past matches, will strengthen the club’s position in the file of Ferjani Sassi’s contract renewal.

The Zamalek club spokesperson also denied the existence of negotiations with Mohamed Majali, the player of the Arab Contractors Club, stressing that the club’s moves will witness the consolidation of some centers, in preparation for the African Champions League journey, and competition for every force for the Egyptian League title and the Egypt Cup.

Zamalek had achieved a victory over Al-Jaish by three goals gratis, in the match that was held on Saturday evening, at Suez Stadium, in the sixth round of the Egyptian League competition.
